Beginning with the 2011 season, Okuma America Corporation will partner with Indianapolis-based Chip Ganassi Racing Teams, Inc. As an associate sponsor, Okuma will bring its high performance motorsports experience to IndyCar and GRAND-AM Series programs for the very first time. With more than 100 race wins across the two series, Chip Ganassi Racing is known for its passion to stay in the lead, and Okuma looks to be a contributing factor in getting the team to victory lane.

As part of the relationship, the teams will utilize Okuma CNC and machining technology to produce parts and equipment for their programs. The No. 9 and No. 10 Indy cars driven by Scott Dixon and 2010 series champion Dario Franchitti in the IZOD IndyCar Series and the No. 01 Daytona Prototype driven by 2010 series champions Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas in the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series will add the Okuma logo to their paint schemes.
