Edmunds Gages Announces New Product

Partners in THINC member, Edmunds Gages, will be exhibiting its new Accu-TouchTM readout at IMTS 2012. This revolutionary universal gaging amplifier provides remarkable visual displays of virtually any shop floor, or production based dimensional measurement. Capable of amplifying results from up to (4) separate gaging tools, the Accu-TouchTM uses a convenient and durable 5.7” touch multi-color screen to portray measurement results with selectable resolutions from .01” (.254 mm) to as fine as .000001” (.000025 mm). The same industrial hardened touch screen allows the user to adapt the amplifier for different measurement applications using easy to use, intuitive, interactive prompting.

The unit is available in 2, or 4 input models from Edmunds LVDT pencil probes, lever probes or contact floats and bore gages. Model variations also include connectivity options with USB, and serial ports available. Data witnessed on the Accu-TouchTM multiple displays can be off loaded to a “Touch Flash” memory stick, or directly to a PC, network, or other data collection devices.

A “docking” A/E unit houses the optional 1, 2, 3, or 4 input air-to-electronic interface for air gage tooling devices. Using the Accu-TouchTM with air plugs, air rings, air snaps, and air fixtures provides the benefits of non-contact, self-disciplines to tight tolerance measurement applications.
