Education Partners
Okuma has partnered with a number of educational institutions to help bring current, state-of-the-art CNC equipment into the hands of students. As industry continues to face challenges finding trained and qualified machinists, programmers and engineers, Okuma is committed to helping train and educate the next generation of CNC professionals.
These institutions offer a variety of course curriculum, ranging from associates to bachelor's degrees and graduate programs (depending upon the institution). In some cases, local manufacturers have access to these students through the school's career placement centers and can use the school as a hiring resource.
