LU35
Dual turrets turn the LU35/45 lathes into high-power turning machines. With both turrets able to move the entire length of the spindle, the LU35/45 delivers the reduced cycle times gained by simultaneous cutting. The milling option allows the upper turret to be used not only for turning but for power drilling, creating a more complete part on one machine. The flexibility of the LU35/45 Series extends to the tooling system, offering a total of 22 stations, available for I.D. and O.D. work. Balance concerns for tooling weight are eliminated due to high servo torque for acceleration and deceleration of turret mass. Increased functionality combined with longer bed lengths creates a multi-use lathe that will redefine standard operating procedure.
