MILLAC-44V
The MILLAC-44V vertical machining center is the first of a new generation of successful MILLAC vertical machining center series. This ultra-rigid box way machine accelerates at 1.0G with a rapid traverse rate of 1,968 ipm—similar in acceleration to drill and tap machines. Spindle speed from 0-10,000 RPM in 1.0 sec. and a chip-to-chip time of 2.5 sec. make the MILLAC 44V vertical machining center a high performance, high productivity machining solution. Its high horsepower, high torque features also make it capable of handling heavy metal removal applications. Its liquid cooled ball screw helps control the high temperatures associated with heavy cutting applications, even during continuous operations. The MILLAC 44V is available with a two-pallet shuttle system and 40 taper 20,000 RPM spindle. It is also available in a special die and mold industry version.
