MILLAC vertical machining centers are designed by Okuma to provide a selection of platforms and work envelopes to handle a wide range of part sizes and production needs. The base and column of these reliable single column vertical machining centers are constructed with reinforcing ribs to reduce vibration and tool chatter. Wide, square guideways provide strength and support for heavy stock removal operations. The thermally protected structure minimizes the influence of high temperatures on machining accuracy. MILLAC vertical machining centers are available with a chip cover and screw conveyor for chip removal. They are equipped with a two-pallet shuttle system and 40 taper 20,000 RPM spindle.
