Okuma 3D Virtual Monitor offers advanced program verification and crash detection through complete confirmation of the entire cutting process as it will occur on your Okuma machine. With 3D Virtual Monitor, you can watch as your program, either created by Okuma ADMAC Parts programming software or written manually, is set into motion. 3D Virtual Monitor lets you optimize tooling paths and catch any errors before they hit the machine. You can do all of this offline, without taking your machines out of production.

3D Virtual Monitor is available as an option to ADMAC Parts programming software and is also sold separately. It comes standard with Okuma chuck and tooling package information.

Using 3D Virtual Monitor with your Okuma machine, you can:
  • Qualify tool lengths and holder types
  • Check and confirm synchronization codes during simultaneous processes
  • Identify programming errors before they create scrap on your machine
  • Eliminate costly machine downtime for parts programming
  • Avoid machine repair costs
  • Save significant time and cost for first part prove-out
  • Complete multitasking verification
  • Provide safe tool change indexing
  • Worry-free cutoff and transfer operations
  • Simulate turret synchronizations quickly and efficiently
  • Simulate complex milling machining operations

  • Easy Modeling is the “built-in” utility program that allows the user to interact with the machine model, both in 3D Virtual Monitor and Collision Avoidance Software.
  • ALL of the tasks regarding Chuck / Jaws / Workpiece / Toolings, etc CAN BE performed OFFLINE using Okuma’s 3D Virtual Monitor. This is the PC equivalent of CAS. Thereby, the end user HAS the ability to create / manage all the required model definition files offline, and simply transfer the data to the actual machine tool.
