THINC monitors and adjusts the manufacturing process in real time, improving machine efficiency. Application Program Interfaces (API) can be employed to read/write real time data generated by the Okuma machine tool. Because THINC is an open system, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) data can be transmitted to Windows based software for organizing or analyzing and implementing real time process control. THINC can communicate directly with PC-based peripheral equipment such as tool inventory managers, measurement and inspection equipment, and robotics for true factory automation.
