Designed to withstand the heaviest cuts and high-volume applications with ease, no detail is left out during the construction of Okuma machines. Experience large machining areas, excellent table accessibility and visibility, and durability time after time.
Eliminate waste and stabilize thermal deformation with our Thermo-Friendly Concept. Maintain high dimensional accuracy when the room temperature changes and during machine startup.
With our open architecture OSP control, operators have access to one easy-to-use interface. This greatly reduces setup times and enables efficient data sharing.
Some of the most versatile turn-mill machine tools available in today’s market are found within the multitasking category.
The MULTUS B250II is a fast and powerful 5-axis multitasking CNC machine, perfect for low-quantity, high-mix production. It has a maximum machining diameter of 23.63”, a machining length of up to 29.53”, and a Y-axis travel among the longest in its class at up to 7.87”. This 6-8” chuck class machine also has a powerful Capto® C6 spindle and can perform complex machining with fewer setups.
The MULTUS U3000 has a maximum machining diameter of 25.6" and bed length of 39.4”. This 8-10” chuck class machine has a broad scope of machining functions and is the embodiment of power, speed, and process flexibility. The base offering has 40 tools available via the ATC, with an option for 80 tools.
The MULTUS U4000 has a maximum machining diameter of 25.9” and a bed length of 59.05”. This multitasker has a 240° B-axis range and a 12,000 rpm H1 milling spindle with dual function (L/M). The H1 dual-function spindle head utilizes Capto® C6 tooling and has a heavy-duty 30 hp (intermittent) milling motor spindle.
The MULTUS B200II is the ultimate fusion of turn-mill operations, with lathe, vertical, or horizontal machining center and material-handling operations consolidated into one machine. This Okuma multitasker has a maximum machining diameter of 23.63” and a machining length of up to 21.65”.
The MULTUS B300II is a high accuracy, 8-10” chuck class 5-axis multitasking CNC machine. It has a maximum machining diameter of 24.80” and a machining length of up to 35.43”. With fewer setups, work in process is drastically reduced, and machine utilization is greatly increased with this Okuma multitasking machine.
Okuma’s multitasking machines give shops an advantage with the ability to produce precision parts accurately and efficiently.
