Koma Precision - 4th Annual Golf Tournament to Benefit Asnuntuck Community College a Success

Asnuntuck Community College 4th Annual Manufacturing Technology Benefit Golf Tournament held in September netted $33,000.00. Gary Caravella, President of CNC Engineering, Inc. in Enfield, Connecticut and Barry Agosti, Vice President of Koma Precision, Inc. in East Windsor spearheaded the event, held at Wintonbury Hills Golf Course in Bloomfield, Connecticut.

The tournament, in its fourth year, benefited Machine Technology at Asnuntuck Community College in Enfield, Connecticut. Asnuntuck Machine Technology Program has been instrumental in helping ready the manufacturing workforce through their educational courses, as well as being the catalyst for scholarship programs.

The Machine Technology program was developed in 1998 and has evolved into a college program. More than 1300 students have graduated from the program with certificates and degrees. The manufacturing community has provided career opportunities for more than 90% of the graduates.
