Okuma was presented a challenge to reduce cycle time while using a non-traditional barrel-style end mill. Using the GENOS M460V-5AX and by engaging several partners, including Mastercam, BIG DAISHOWA, and Emuge, the goal was exceeded by removing 80% from the finish cycle time.
