Beginning in 1990 Andy worked at Okuma America as an Electrical Engineer in various departments. In 2015, he was promoted to Systems Engineer with a focus on new product development and non-Okuma equipment integration. From 2004 to present, he has teamed up with Okuma partner Infinity Rebuild to complete, 62 and counting, OSP control retrofits on Old Okuma Iron. From Alpha to Omega, he’s responsible for all electrical and software development including pre/post sale activities. Giving new life to 20-30 year old Okuma mills and lathes is a personal passion that truly tested his entire person. According to Andy, “Okuma is more than a job it’s my extended family.
