Okuma America strives to maintain the highest standard of service excellence as an OEM in all of our territories and is dedicated to training service technicians to provide world-class service to our customers. This commitment begins with the testing of all distributor service technicians on legacy to current Okuma products and technology to measure our current level of success, continue to upskill technicians, and reward those with a high level of proficiency.
To date, we have certified 163 technicians in our Certified Service Technician program, 12 of whom have achieved the highest certification level of Master Certified Service Technician Part of this is our Certified Technician program.
To achieve the Master status, technicians participated in a 4-day skills assessment event, where their knowledge in the following areas was tested:
