The optional U-axis on this machine provides turning functionality on this 3-axis vertical machining center. The automatic tool changer offers one-step advance and reverse, with the ability to load and unload tools during cycle without manual intervention. The U-axis is fully programmable for incorporating turning contouring. This 3-axis vertical machining center with U-axis functionality expands what you can accomplish with a vertical machining center.
