On October 4, 2019, Okuma opened its doors to local high school students for a Manufacturing Day event highlighting "The Digital Age of Manufacturing" at the Okuma America headquarters in Charlotte, NC. The event was held in conjunction with the annual Manufacturing Day celebration sponsored by the National Association of Manufacturing and the Manufacturing Institute to educate and inspire the next generation of manufacturers.
