"In order to stay competitive in today's marketplace, you must be willing to explore new ideas, information and technology. Okuma America is working to help metalworking companies create business strategies that can keep them ahead of the competition. At this year's Okuma Technology Showcase event we are showing simple technology upgrades that can help you leapfrog the competition, get better productivity from your people and your machines and improve your bottom line," said Jim King, President, Okuma America Corporation.
The demonstrations served a wide variety of industries including aerospace, automotive, construction/farming (heavy equipment), die/mold, firearms/munitions, medical, oil/energy and general job shops.
Members of Partners in THINC demonstrated how peripheral equipment such as tooling, gaging, workholding and automation can be integrated with Okuma technology to improve productivity.
