Okuma Robot Loader – Rotary

For high-speed, high-volume production of identical components, the ORL-R features a rotating platform and disc-style storage unit. The rotating platform supplies raw materials and removal of finished parts while the robot loads and unloads the machine. 

  • Handles up to 166 workpieces on a lathe, mill, or grinder. Small, medium, and large templates are included.

Okuma Mobile Robot Series

The Okuma Mobile Robot (OMR) Series includes collaborative robots that automate workpiece mounting and removal in high-mix, low-volume production environments. OMR10 (5kg workpiece payload) and OMR20 (10kg workpiece payload) available. 

  • Operators can access the inside of the machine, even with an OMR installed at the front. 
  • Reduced stocker setup time when changing workpieces (approx. 1 minute). 
  • Complete new workpiece startup in approx. 10 minutes with easy parameter entry and setup-saving stocker. 
  • End effectors include a three-jaw workpiece hand and parallel hand.

Okuma smarTwinCELL connects a machine tool, robotic system, and peripheral equipment to automate workpiece loading/unloading, measurements, and other operations. It also assists in improving productivity with advanced preparation and production volume estimation offline, creating efficiencies from anywhere.
